We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of Spring! We had a really nice day yesterday in Austin, so I took my wild haired boys outside for some kite flying and running around their favorite park!

Check my blog this weekend for an adorable newborn and early next week for my favorite set of twins who will be making their 9 month sneak peek appearance!

Yay! We had snow in Austin today! And LOTS of it!!! There were loads happy children throughout the great state of Texas! I heard of snow reports in Houston and San Antonio too! It looked like a winter wonderland around 1pm this afternoon. My boys spent most of the day outside soaking up the snow. Some highlights of their day… Enjoy!

I hope everyone gets extra kisses and hugs today! Lots and lots of that at our home! Here is Hunter & Hayden’s Valentine’s Day card they passed out to their friends…

Hunter spent all of about 1 minute personalizing the envelopes for his classmates and a long 10 minutes decorating the ONE envelope for “Kamryn”, his first crush at preschool. He talks about her aaaalll the time! lol

We just got back from a quick trip to Albuquerque, NM to see my family and to go to the Balloon Fiesta! While we were there, we met our awesome photographer friend, Bethany Dawn for a holiday family photo session! She completely blew me away with the photos she was able to capture of my family! She rocks!!! My boys suffer from a bad case of PCS (photographer’s child syndrome) and they are also going through the whole throw-yourself-on-the-ground tantrum phase of life! Not to mention they are lightning fast and well, it was a workout but look at what she captured…. (Thank you so much Bethany!!!!) A big shout out to my sister Ashley who came along for the photo session and got some great smiles out of the boys too! Love ya sis!!!

PS. Hunter is turning 3 and Hayden is 18 months old in these photos!

We took a (much needed) family vacation to Destin, Florida last week! We had a fabulous time! The boys LOVED the white sand beaches and splashing in the ocean. (And the sand really is that white and the ocean is that aquamarine blue!) We stayed in the Sandestin resort, which is just south of Destin. Highly recommend it!

I apologize if I’ve been late in replying to emails or returning phone calls. Our hotel had a very sloooow internet connection and after day 2 of waiting for web pages to load, I gave up on trying. Thank goodness for my iphone or I would have been completely out of touch with the world.

I’ll be responding to emails and voicemails today so if you are waiting to hear back, thanks for your patience! I’ll be mailing out my next batch of photography orders later this week too!

Meet our new duckling, “Squeaky” - 10 days old. He was near death on day 7, left for dead by his mother, so we took him home to try to feed him baby formula. He was so weak, he couldn’t even lift his head. Within 3 hrs of drinking some formula, he was flying out of the box we had him in. He’ll be going back to the pond this weekend, but not before he had his official “duckling mini session” with Ella Bella Photography! Look at that eye contact too! He’s a natural in front of the camera!

I did it! I started a new blog about my two boys! It’s been too long since I last wrote about our daily adventures. I need someone to help me make it look pretty! Any takers? I’m challenged when it comes to designing blogs!

Just a quick post to share a pic from Hayden’s 1st Birthday Cake Smash Session! I have so many more to proof but no time to get to any of them for a while. He turned one on April 4th (one week ago) and we had a fun little party for him to celebrate the big milestone! He is finally starting to crawl and talking alllll the time now (babbling). His 7th and 8th tooth just cut through his gums in the last week too! I love him so much!

My goal this Spring is to restart my family blog! I miss writing about my boys and I need to share what life is really like with two little toddlers in the house!
