More holiday sneak peeks coming your way! Today I saw two of my favorite families who have been with me almost since the start of my photography career 4 years ago. I absolutely love photographing them and capturing all the stages of their lives as a growing family. First up is the W family and their 3 adorable energetic boys and second is the S family and their gorgeous girls. We had some wonderful fall temperatures for our sessions too which was just perfect! A little break from the newborn babies with today’s sneak peek! I love family portraits too – especially ones with grandparents and grandchildren! Love capturing these precious moments in time for my clients! This little guy though all my silly antics were quite amusing! Just a quick blog post to say Happy Birthday to my oldest little man who turned 3 years old on November 6th! It was 3 short years ago that I became a mommy and it’s been quite a ride! I love you Hunter! Mommy is so proud of the thoughful, empathetic, energetic, orderly, intelligent boy you have become! You are my pride and joy, my breath of fresh air, my “brain” most of the time – reminding me to grab my purse, wipe up a spill, where I last set down my keys… in this crazy busy season of Holiday Portrait Photography, you help me get from point A to point B without losing my mind completely. I love you little man. And I love how much interest you show towards Mommy’s work, you tell me daily that “when I get older, I be photography like mommy does” – you already take some pretty great pictures with my iphone. Mommy will definitely take you up on your offer to help one day, sweet boy. I love how you still want to hold my hand when you are falling asleep and when you first wake up. I love how you help keep tabs on your brother, you have saved him from hurting himself so many times. Your ability to predict what will happen next amazes me. I love watching you grow up. I love watching you light up at the thought of doing something that interests you. I love your smile. I love your sense of humor. Sometimes I can’t believe your only 3, you seem wise beyond your years. And then most of the time I can’t believe you ARE 3 years old. Where has the time gone? Happy Birthday, Hunny. I was secretly jumping for joy when I saw my 4th family walking towards me at Mayfield park on Saturday. Big sister was wearing a beautiful Kaiya Eve pettiskirt in my new favorite color – purple. I knew it was going to be a magical mini session…

My first round of holiday mini sessions took place this weekend! It was sunny and beautiful out Saturday morning and the only thing we had to compete with was ALL the other photographers who had the same plans to decend on Mayfield park for family portraits! Craziness! We did a pretty good job of staying out of each others way, BUT cloning out the fuzzy photographer in the background has become a standard practice in my photo editing routine.

I was going to post all the sneak peeks of the event in one big blog post but I think I’ll give each family their own day – which means MORE sneak peeks to look at! Little Miss “A” was having her 4th birthday party the same day as the mini sessions! I brought along 3 red balloons to the event (so people could easily spot me amongst the sea of photographers) and I took some pictures of her with the balloons at the end of their session! Happy 4th Birthday! Enjoy your sneak peek! (Mom & Dad – I got great family portraits that you will see in your private gallery next week!)
