One more from the other day

I’m getting one of my previous sessions ready for the lab tonight and fell in love with this photo all over again. I love the look of love on his mother’s face and the sparkle in his eyes…

Speaking of love, Valentine’s day is a month away!:-)

Hey Elle!!! Great job on the newborn shots … I have one next week (my first) and am really excited! I’ll be doing them all in studio. Did you take these at their home? Natural light? I hope to use my softbox and some props ~ any suggestions? THANKS!

On Saturday, I had my last photo session of 2008. It was with the “H” family from College Station, TX and their adorable 9 month old boy/girl twins! They are both so sweet and full of baby smiles! Thanks for letting me have the opportunity to photograph your beautiful duo! Enjoy your sneak peak “H” family!!! (Look in the silver ball for a glimpse of me in action! hehe)

I check your blog regularly and really love your photos! I found a link to you months ago (on the old blog) and originally got interested because Hunter is exactly two days older than my beloved nephew. Hope you don’t mind; I even gave the link to a friend of mine who lives in Austin (& has a 9-month-old son).

I love this session; adorable family!!

BTW, you seem to know lots of people with multiples. Is that an Austin thing?

Merry Christmas!

From our family to yours… Merry Christmas! Remembering that Jesus is the reason for this season. I am so thankful that our God, Everlasting Father, gave his only Son, Jesus, on this day, to be born for us all, who changed the world, who paid the ultimate sacrifice for our sins, who took MY place on the cross so that I don’t have to pay the price for my own sins when I die. Happy Birthday, Jesus. Thank you for Your eternal gift of salvation!

Two in front of our tree

I’ve sat down two three times to write this blog post but was interrupted each time by a crying child. Hunter has had a 102-104 degree fever for 48 hrs straight. Took them both to the pedi today to rule out RSV. They tested negative. Hunter’s fever still continues. Both have horrible chesty coughs, congestion, watery eyes. My poor babies… here they are last night… all dressed up to go see Santa. I photoshopped out their goopy eyes and noses. (eta: We drove all the way to to see Santa (our outdoor Southpark Meadows Santa) and he WENT HOME EARLY because it was “too cold outside”. COLD?!?! FOR SANTA? WHO RESIDES IN THE NORTH POLE??? It was 45 degrees out. So, no Santa pictures with the boys this year. I guess that’s Austin for ya!)

One more… Technically not a great photo, but the only one I got with both of them looking forward before chaos ensued!

So sorry about the boys being so sick!!! That is NO fun…especially right before Christmas. I hope they feel MUCH better by Christmas day. That also sucks about not being able to see Santa! :( 45 degrees is cold?! HA!

Hope the boys feel better!!! Love the pics :O)

I may not be anywhere close to you but that same bug is going around here. Luckily we havent gotten it yet. Also even worse the stomach bug is going around like crazy. I havent gone anywhere or done anything with my moms group in a week just to be safe and to try to keep the kids from getting it and ruining Christmas! So, I hope it goes away soon for you guys! Merry Christmas!

Alaskan Cuties

Beautiful Miss “E” (almost 3 years old) and her adorable little sister (17 months old) came all the way from Alaska (via Houston where they were visiting family) for a photo session with me! How cool is that? The session was challenging due to travel fatigue, missing nap time and super windy cold weather, but I got some cute pictures of the girls! I’ll have the rest of your proofs done this week! Thank goodness for the “Big Top Candy Shop” that was right down the street from us!

Meet Miss “E”…:)

And her little sister, Miss “A”…:)
