I had so much fun this past weekend photographing this gorgeous family! With all the recent rains in Austin, Mayfield park is blooming again! It seriously looks like spring when you go there. I brought along my new parasols and my fun pettiskirts for these two beautiful little girls. Little Miss “E” turned into Mary Poppins when she was holding the parasol – even singing me all the songs from the movie! Ah, memories…

On Friday, I drove down to San Antonio to meet little miss “E” for her 1st birthday photo session and cake smash! What a little doll she is! Very happy, clapping, giggling and toddling around all over! When it came time for the cake smash, she wanted no part of it! She didn’t care much for the idea of getting down and dirty in cake! I did get some very cute captures of her before her final meltdown… no worries momma!Enjoy your sneak peek!!

I got to meet my Portraits of Love contest winner this week and her beautiful 1 month old baby boy, “Z” – what a strong alert baby he is! He was determined to remember everything about our session by staying awake and lifting his head (and upper body!) each time I would try to “pose” him in the basket! Strong little man! His daddy is on active duty serving our country in Iraq. He was able to come home for 2 weeks to be there for his son’s birth. Only 2 weeks. So these portraits of love are for Z’s brave daddy – here is your gorgeous baby boy, now 1 month old. Stay safe and thank you for serving our country and defending our liberty!

It’s been in the making for over 6 months! Well, okay, I haven’t had any time to work on it since I first started on it over six months ago! You may have seen this little cutie on my blog earlier this year! Miss “C” is now 18 months old and has the sweetest curls in her hair! She still has those gorgeous brown eyes that are going to break some hearts one day! I managed to keep up with her at the park last week, after breaking my toe just 5 days before her photo session. (Even with a broken toe, I only rescheduled one photo session – I love my job so much I just can’t stay out of the game for long!) Enjoy your sneak peek, “S” family!
